The American Chemical Society is a professional society that promotes scientific inquiry in the field of chemical sciences. The organization operates as a vast professional network for students, and includes local student chapters, which are based out of universities and colleges.
As a student affiliate of the American Chemical Society, this chapter seeks to promote professional comradery among students of the sciences, enable access to research for undergraduate students, promote graduate school and professional resources for students in the sciences, and facilitate student attendance and presentations at academic conferences.
This chapter, though inclined to students of chemical sciences, is open to any student at the Florida State University.
